Kellie Riordan has been a journalist for more than a decade, after starting her journalism career writing music reviews for Time Off Magazine. She is currently the program director at radio station 612 ABC Brisbane where she manages a team of 25 radio makers. The top-rating 612 ABC Brisbane is home to Brisbane’s No 1 breakfast radio show. Kellie has also been a producer and presenter with ABC Coast FM, and an award-winning reporter for Triple J’s current affairs program Hack. She has written for the Scotsman (Edinburgh), the Sunday Mail, and The Drum.

Kellie Riordan’s first taste in the music industry was working in a record store when people still bought actual CDs. She spent two years managing her brothers’ rock band, but quickly progressed to real rock stars when working as a publicist for EMI Music and Warner Music. In these roles she worked with artists such as The Whitlams, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Shihad, Marcia Hines, Alex Lloyd, Eskimo Joe, and Danielle Spencer.

Kellie was a member of the Q Music board from 2004-2006. She plays piano very badly.
