Amanda Jackes is the General Manager of the Queensland Folk Federation (QFF) and Deputy Director of the Woodford Folk Festival. The QFF also produce The Dreaming – Australia’s International Indigenous Festival and are unique in developing their own 500-acre festival site ‘Woodfordia’.

Amanda is highly regarded in the arts industry, regularly guest lectures at university level and presents at conferences on a number of topics including event management and arts industry practice.

Her experience in managing an organisation comprising a staff of 25 full-time, 60 casual and over 3,000 volunteers has been documented in a recent case study to be published in an event management textbook.
